    Hi everyone,
    I have a question, I am a beginner.
Can anyone tell me how to get web pages to go to the center of the screen instead of to the upper right or upper left of the screen?

    thanks.

    Boss.

    Welcome to windowsbbs...

The position of content in a Web page is controlled by the code used to make the page. If the page displays on the left, then the designer of the page made it that way on purpose.

Get the idea that a screen set to 1024 x 768 means that the screen is capable of displaying 1024 pixels width and 768 pixels height. Most Web pages will fit in a screen that size. But not everybody has the same size monitor nor do they use the same screen settings, thus Web designers build Web pages that will "fill" the majority of viewers' screens.

Some designers code their Web pages to fill 100% of the screen no matter the screen size or settings. Some pages are coded to a set width and height, some are coded to be centered in the screen.

    examples:
Here's one of my pages I made to fill the screen:
    http://members.cox.net/tonyt/d830/

and here's a site I made for a friend's business that is centered in the screen:
    http://rochefortconstruction.com

    Hope this helps...
