Cd /rw

I recently tried to install an external CD-RW to a Win2K machine...., after loading all drivers and exe. I get this BOD and can't boot anymore from anywhere(message "cannot load the CD-RW sys). I did a repair from boot disk and able to removed the .sys that pertains to CD-RW and now...... was able to boot. By the way the CD-RW is an external Micro-solutions
I noticed now that my internal CD has the yellow exclamation point and can't use the CD. I tried uninstall and reinstall it back with out any luck.

How can I get back my internal CD to work now.????????

I found this little tid bit below
Easy to install. Easy to use. It now ships with newer releases of CD software. I've had no problems. Windows 2000 has an install "trick ", and there is a page of instructions at the vendor website. There is great phone support - knowledgeable and quick to answer the phone.
