   Hi, I have a CD-RW/DVD-rom LG gcc 4240N
   
   I want to back up some files and would like to do it onto DVD-Rs
   
   Before i run about and buy some disks I wanted to know
   
   Is there anyway that I can burn data to a DVD-r or DVD-rw
   
   It will save me having to back up to 4-5 cd-rw

   A Google search for LG gcc 4240N produced information which reveals that it can not write to DVD in any format, only CD-R and CD-RW.
