CD ROM Drive and DVD Burner not found

    I cannot use cd rom or dvd burner which have been running ok.They show up in device mgr with yellow! and their properties say device cannot be found. Tried to fix by uninstalling and disconnecting then reconnecting and installing. no change .Tried again cd rom on is own then dvd burner on its own. No luck.

    This may work in WinXP :-

    Download CDGONE from here http://aumha.net/downloads/cdgone.zip Make a restore point first, unzip then run CDGONE then reinstall your burning software (if you have any).
