cd rom/cdrw not found in my computer!!!

    ok, long story making it short; i disconnected the one cable that connected the mother board to the cd-rom/cd-rw. then i reconnected it back again the same way and now i have both drives missing from my computer. any suggestions? thx.

    either the cable is back the front or one of the jumpers from the drives has fallen out from its master or slave position. Check to make sure the jumpers are in the right place (the little black plugs on the back of the drive)
