I have been trying to burn an audio cd and keep getting the error that I am using high speed discs and not supported. I was last burning a dvd which burns at 1x. Both of my drives are cd/dvd. One is +rw and the other -r/-rw. The +rw has max cd writing speed of 12x the other 16x. I have been using the same media from a 100 pack for a while and they worked fine. Tried 2 other brands that were only 12x max and still the same error. It seems that the drives are "stuck" in dvd mode at 1x. Searching properties and system and everything, I can't find a way to "unstick" them. Will I have to reinstall them or what? What is the best way to go about it?

Using CDCreator5 and Nero and a few other freeware burning software and none of them can get past the not supported media error.

Please advise - Thanks in Advance

Could be a problem with having two burning (or more) software programs being installed, they can sometimes conflict.

Trying getting forceaspi from the internet and reinstall your aspi layer, might help.

I know that Adaptec Easy CD and Nero don't work well together.
