What are the benefits if any on having both a cd drive and a dvd drive?

    hi...

well, you can do two things at once, like install two programs at the same time, or you could listen to an audio cd while installing a program, etc... stuff like that

    Hi rgaleh,

I have DVD/CD burner and kept a CD rom drive as well. I use the CD drive for reading disks to save wear and tear on the burner.
