I have a new SOYO mother board running Win 98 and P III with 128 memory.
Trying to get it to recognize my 48 speed CD. The CD is a Pine Technologies 48 speed. The bios shows it is OK and installed but when I try to use it I get the following: D: Not accessible. The device is not ready. I have changed cables and jumpers on the drive. Also drive letters. Originally It worked but as I changed the cd for a slower one to see if IT was working when I tried to reinstall the 48 speed , not. I have looked for a driver but what I have found is the same that comes with Windows. Opening the INF driver file I can not see anything that would indicate a driver I can use.

Do you have a cd in the drive? If you open "My Computer" and click on the drive, it will say not accessable if there is no cd in the drive.
