Windows Vista CCleaner duplicate file finder - which to delete

    Running CCleaner Duplicate File Finder, how to determine which one file to delete. 1st is named 2nd shows as (86). In this instance, numerous files are shown, taking C drive space. It will be appreciated for guidance as to what files that can be safely deleted or not.

    Hi BobbyScot. I wouldn't advise removing any duplicate files as many of them could be system files. Many system files are meant to have backups in other Windows directories. Just run CCleaner as you normally would but don't remove any duplicate files.
