When I copy, drag and drop, or paste files onto a zip or floppy lower case files names often change to upper case. This, of course, ruins any HTML pages with links.
How do I stop this from happening?

    media - welcome to you.

Sorry but I can't even cause it TO happen and have no clue why it is doing it to you.

I just tried 3 files, .txt, .bmp, .xls, from both an NTFS drive and a network drive on an XP system to a floppy and then over to a 95 PC and from floppy to hard drive there. Names stayed the same. With spaces, without spaces, all started small case and stayed that way.

Don't have a zip drive to check.

Can you give some details on your setup?

Since you got no responses for a few hours after posting, I'm assuming that no one else had a clue either. But with some poking around, surely we can get a clue somewhere. :)
