The RICOH R5C832/843 Flash Media Driver (for XP and Vista 32-bit), on an Asus notebook, is not compatible with Windows 7 but no warning was given by Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor (both 32-bit and 64-bit). The Windows 7 upgraded notebook is thus handicapped. Though external USB connected card readers can serve the same functions, do any one give me such driver?

I checked the www.asus.com.tw but only XP driver for the card reader is available. That XP driver works on Vista Home Premium 32-bit, but not installable on Windows 7 64-bit.

Both my external card readers which ran on XP run happily on 7 Pro x64 without the installation of any third party drivers.

PeteC, lucky you. Anyway, it's not a critical problem. :<

Search out the Asus support downloads for notebooks with windows 7. There are drivers for ricoh card readers there and one may work.
