I second Tony's suggestion for anyone who likes the old Windows 7 versions of FreeCell, Hearts, Mahjong, Minesweeper, Solitaire, or my favorite, Spider Solitaire, the Winaero method is the way to go.

One minor irritant, however. Microsoft does not want us to use the old versions and instead, wants us to use the Microsoft Store versions. The new ones are nice and still free, but some of us just prefer the old versions.

The problem is, after installing the major "Creators" updates, I had to use the Winaero method to reinstall the games again on my Windows 10 systems. Not hard, but an irritant. So when the next big Creators Update comes out, if your games disappear, don't panic. Just use the Winaero method to get them back.

Except as I noted above, those are not the same versions as found in Windows 7. And if you look on that page, it says,
I don't need to read the privacy policy. I don't want any ads.
