Hi BillBob Yes it's me again.
I have 3 spy wear removers all up to date and I am clear of spy wear.
Have run chkdsk /f/r in run, command prompt, and from my computer works great.
This is a problem I have had since the beginning before the infections.
My computer experience is only 4 months any help would be appreciated.

That may well be OK now. But it is possible that some damage was done and had not been repaired.

This is a problem I have had since the beginning before the infections.

I guess that lets the other thread out of it then.

But I did have to ask because sometimes the damage that may have been done does not show up till a later date.

That could be your problem - 256 Mb generally considered to be the absolute minimum for XP to run anything like decently - 512 Mb is pretty much the norm nowadays.

Try Media Player Classic - likely to have a lower overhead than Windows Media Player.
