I have two machines set up through DLink router. before upgrading both machines to XP I could see the Network and share files. Since upgrading and running Network Setup I can not see the network from either machine and can't share files. The machines are connected because the second machine is accessing the Internet through a cable modem on the first machine.

When I try to access Windows Networks I see the name MSHome but when I click on it I get message:

"MSHome is not accessible. You might not have permission, etc. Contact the administrator .... (I am the administrator)

The List of Servers for this workgroup is not currently available "

I have guest account off - have tried using static Ip addresses, rerun Network Install a couple of times... Any suggestions?
