Installed new software adobe reader 11.4 and now i'm unable to return to a prior page when Xing from current page.?
step 1: bing search, find page with information wanted
step 2: go to that page and click on another page within the original page
step 3: on some pages you can use the "<" arrow to return to prior page
and no problem, but if there is no back "<" arrow, i would upper right
corner "X" out of page and a notice would ask if i wanted to close
the current page or close the link, if i selected close page it reverted
to the prior page i had just came from, but now i don't get that option
when the page does not have a back "<" arrow option and i click the
red "x" in the upper right hand corner, it clears the link completely
and does not offer me the option to close the current link and return to
the prior page. Which setting got changed..

    Thanks everyone..
    Michael

Hi Michael, You don't say what Browser you're using. I wonder if you select Tab in View whether this would be what you wanted.

I use Firefox and as a Link/Page is opened - it shows in a new Tab above the Address line.
If the return arrow is Grayed - I close the Tab and it returns me to the previous page. Neil.

I always "middle scroll button click" on all my links. They open in separate tab doing this. When done I close tab(s). I always have option of going back and forth to tab of interest.
