can't retrieve My Documents after malware attack

    this PM arrived out of the blue from a newly-joined BBS member, unfortunately a few days ago while I was away. I've replied gently explaining the thing to do is to start a thread, and that anyway I'm hopeless with XP :eek:

    how strange ? what I see

    number of posts is zero - maybe new folks don't show up until they've made their first post ? there don't seem to be any other members with 0 posts on the list I look at (from the link near the top of the page)

    That is the clearly the case - as of midday 16 new members joined today - only a couple who have posted show up in the Members list.
