I installed a Canon MultiPass C530 and tried to update for Win XP. Update went bad. I had typed in Word Pad a phony document containg XXXXX and had asked it to print using the C530. Didn't print, closed the document without saving and now can not remove the document from the que or remove the C530 printer from the system because the document is in the que. I unpluged both AC power and the computer cable from the C530, turned off and restarted the computer and the documnet still remains in the que. I just want to delete the MultiPass C530 completly.

    Thank You

Click Start>Run and type cmd then hit enter to open a command window. Type or paste the following command, then hit enter.

    net stop "Print Spooler "

Take a deep breath (or two) then enter this next command.

    net start "Print Spooler "

See if the jobs have been cleared.

Thank You. That did it. Removed the document and also went ahead and deleted the C530. Again my thanks.

    Deleting a printer

    Dear ,
What you needs to to do is to go to "Services" console and
select and restart the service "Print spooler" . (Programs->Admin. tools->
    Services.)
As you said , you needs to delete the printer , it will not allow you when the service is running . For this to work out , you needs to stop the
'print spooler' service and try deleting your printer. It will solve your problem.
