Can't Receive E-Mails

    OE6 requests a password. I don't USE a password! I've gone into "accounts" & removed my ID and reloaded it a few times, each time either enabling a password, or NOT enabling a password. Neither works. How do I get past this password prompt? I just wanna get my mail! :rolleyes: Please respond to email address removed (I can't open OE)

    Admin note: we keep topics on the forum rather than by email.

    The password in Accounts > Properties > Servers tab is the password for your connection be it dialup or DSL.

    I wonder if you have an Identity problem - File > Manage Identities > Identity Properties > Require a Password. Snag is, if that box is checked you will need the password to clear it, I guess.
