Can't read messages in 7.1

Help! I was having issues with ghost emails, but due to great help here - compacted the folders and that stopped until today. So again, I compacted the folders and know the ghost emails have stopped, but now I can see messages in my inbox, but when I click on them, there is no body nor can I see the to/from fields.

I know in fact these are valid emails as I viewed some ofthem while travelling off my server, but now trying to download and answer them I can't see them.

Any suggesttions?

 

Hi pdg,

When you view the Mail window, is the message pane viewable? Have you tried clicking on the "grippy " that separates the message headers and the message body?

If that isn't the problem then try this:
Close Netscape and Quick Launch
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your Mail Account folder:
Profiles Folder Location
Delete the Inbox.msf file
Don't delete the Inbox file without the MSF extension, as it contains your mail
