I am trying to play a DVD on my new laptop. I keep getting this message:
Please turn PBC to show photos'
What can I do to fix this?

    :)

    Hi pleasantlake,

I can't recognize this at all: Please turn PBC to show photos' . Have no idea what that message means.

Post what brand laptop you have.

Sounds like a proprietory software program is runing when the DVD is being auto run.

You can use Windows Task Manager to pin the software down:

To bring up TM, simultaneously hit the ctrl - alt - delete keys.
In TM, click the Proccess tab.
Click on the name column, that will put the processes in name sequence.

If you don't recognize the software, copy and paste the names into your next post.

    Regards - Charles

Just remembered that you can't copy anything directly from TM.

If you're are running XP Pro, you have tasklist.exe on your system.

If Home, download tasklist.exe from here:
    http://www.computerhope.com/download/winxp.htm

Then move tasklist.exe to the C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder

Open a cmd box: start > run > type cmd > ok and type:
    tasklist /svc > c:\tasklist.txt

It will create a .txt file tasklist.txt on the HD ( which you can look at and copy/paste: just double click on it and it wll open.)

    Regards - Charles
