My computer froze up and I had to power down with off button. After I restarted, I'm having difficulties opening my windows. I'm having to right click and click on open but when I open the the folder, I can't open the contents. I can pull up my emails but cannot open an individual email. I went to safe mode but had the same problem there.
Would appreciate some help ASAP as I'm shut down.

Dee, we are all volunteers here and come online at different times. Usually you should expect someone could offer a suggestion in around 24 hours. People may need time to research information before they make a suggestion, etc. Try not to get impatient.

Something you could do easily and without any fear is to run CHKDSK on the drive/s. My Computer -> right-click on the drive -> Properties -> Tools tab -> Error Checking. Put a check in the boxes "automatically fix..." and "scan disk surface ". You will probably need to have them run when you restart the computer.

If you cannot find many other options, look at doing a System Restore, you will see that option when you go into Safe Mode.

Back up any important data before you make any serious changes.

I think I've got everything working again. I did everything Matt suggested. Thanks for your help.
