Cant open more than one explorer window at a time

I just upgraded to XP Professional and I cant open more than one explorer window at a time. I cannot get to tons of Sites because they require a new window to be opened up. Please help me.

Windows explorer or Internet Explorer?

WE - go to tools~folder options and change the "browse folders" option.

IE (at least with version 6.x) tools~internet options~advanced and in the browsing section, uncheck the "reuse windows ...." line.

 

I tried tools~internet options~advanced and in the browsing section, uncheck the "reuse windows ...." line. and i still cannot open more than one window, is there anything else i can try?
