Can't open attachments

    For some reason this morning, I cannot open attachments on any of my email. Using Outlook Express 6. All of my old ones will open. When I click to open, nothing happens, no errors, nada.

    Just very strange. Can't really find anything on MS support that is similar.

    Thought I'd finish up this thread. I found out that one of the people who sends me email has part of the problem. (no one else is able to open her email either)

    The other thing is just about every email I get has an attachment symbol beside it. (whether it actually has one or not, even the junk ads)

    Not sure from your post if you have resolved the problem or not - get the impression that it was emails from only one person that were the problem?

    You may find that this is the email checker in your avtivirus - AVG??
