can't open attachments

    since upgrading recently from an old version of win98 to win98se I am unable to open any attachments from my email messages in outlook express. I get the paper clip icon in the right hand column but when I click on it the 2 little boxes(open or save options) that normally become highlited they just stay darkened and when I click on either option nothing happens.Where should I go to enable my attachments..thanks

    Go to Tools > Options > Security and uncheck the box for "do not allow ... "

    I recommend to recheck it when You´re done because it´s an additional level of virus protection!
