OK I need to map a network connection between a Win2K machine and a Win98 Machine. I installed NetBeui so I can see the other computer but when I try to network it asks for a password. The Win2k machine has no passwords on any of the profiles.

I can access the Win2k machine and map a drive from another Win2k machine on the same network with no problem.

Sharing on 2K requires a non blank password.

    So!

On 98 machine give it a password for the user, then on 2k create that same user and give it the same password.
