hmm... I'm using the SP2 on this version of windows u dont have to create an administator account when installing, u can use the default account which i have been using for a few month, but yesterday i decided to check some stuff with the users and passwords options. so ive created a new account it had to be an administator 1 (windows doesnt give u any other choise). so i created a new administor account and the next time i restarted the old account has disapeard (with all of my documents my music folders etc.). and i could choose on the login screen only the new account ive created. Then i discoverd that i can still access the old account (the default one) by using safe mode but i couldnt find how to make it work regulary, so i disabled the new account form the control panel->administatoratvie tools->cpu sonthing->users right click on the user and disable. cuz i was thinking this way windows will have no choise but making my old account, the default acoount again, but sadly it wasnt like that, so now i cant use the default account even on safe mode and the only account which is showing is the new disabled now when i try to logon using it it sais its disabled (well dahh..) and that i should contect an administator.
i know it was an idiotic thing of me to do but now im really stuck if anybody has a solution or an idea for 1 ill be more then happy. thx alot, yarb.

Could you maybe re-type this and insert some Punctuation. It's very hard to understand what you're trying to say. Thanks.

Hi, Yarb! Welcome to the BBS!

This forum is international, and English is not the first language of many of the people who visit here (maybe even you, too) so that's why we try to write as "standard" as possible. Because of the nature of computers, being specific helps us to help you.

Now, if I am reading your post correctly, you deleted your own account, the one with Admin privileges?

If you have XP Home, you will need to go back into Safe Mode and create a new account. If you are on XP Pro, you can access the REAL admin account by tapping control-alt-delete twice at the Windows welcome screen.

After you create a new account, then Take Ownership of your files.

If you get curious about the "real" Admin account, do an advanced search on the BBS using my name and Administrator. About a year ago we investigated the mysteries of admin accounts.

    HTH
    Johanna
