Can't log into pages ?

    Hi
    Am wondering if anyone can tell me what might be wrong, everytime I try to log into a page- it comes up with "page can not be displayed "

    any suggestions what to do ??

    Assuming that the problem is with a different machine than the one you used to post here, it sounds like you have a DNS issue.

    If the problem occurs with any and all sites/pages then DNS for sure. If only with some then you may have gotten a piece of spyware that does a couple of nasty tricks to block sites that might help with removing it.

    Try this. Open a browser window on the problem machine and paste the following line into the address window and see if it takes you to the forum.

    Thank you for your help, I don't know why but the BBS board was the only page that I was able to go to with out getting that message...
    the last thing I had done "differant" on the computer was add the spybot and I got rid of alot that it had found on the computer, I have since done a system restore - went back to when it was working ok, and it's working right again.. thank you again :)
