can't load hp software fax.msi missing

I had been unistalling and re installing because all in one would disappear now I can't get hp software to load and run all in one scanner functions it can't find fax.msi printer works system sees all in one hp has't been able to find a soultion

Is this because you are trying to install fax or is this a nag after ther initial install that keeps telling you it can't find fax.msi?

Have you giveb HP support's "search support solutions" a shot?

In the above link I have pretyped in all-in-one and fax.msi as keyword filters, you may wish to use your own. You also may wish to ahave looksee at many other solutions for bugs that you are suffering or have had for this bugger.

As a side note, it seems that many have found relief in totalling uninstalling this thing, using hps own cleanup tool for this and copying the entire install disk to a folder on the hard and installing from there. Using harddrive as install source makes it less confusing for windows installer or yourself should you have to manually browse to point to source for a file.
