Howdy, I just bought a new Dell Desktop with Win 7 64. I have been trying to install Firefox all night and I keep getting the Error:
    Installer Error,
X Unable to intialize Installer GUI.
    Can someone help me.
    Thanks, Paul Dep

Where are you trying to install it from? Directly from Mozilla or some other site?

Try clearing your Cache in IE and see what happens.

    Get your copy from here:http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

You save to Desktop and Run from there. Firefox will detect if there is an earlier version installed and will un-install before installing the new version.

Has worked for me many times. Cheers Neil.

Thank you Neil & Mr.Bill, I'm all good now thanks to everyone. I NEVER had trouble in all the years of using Firefox, I was stumped. Never had an error but thanks again, I;m on my Firefox.
