The person who used this computer before me has the language pack installed. Anytime I try to install a program it comes up in a language I don't understand. I have a completely different profile but it does it anyway. From what I saw on MS's site, you just need to uncheck the "Install files for East Asian languages" but my checkbox is grayed out. I removed any refferences elsewhere and most things are in English.

The language pack effects how possible pages are displayed in Internet Explorer.

It does not effect an installed program, or a program you intend to install.

You could check for a DLL as suggested here: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/foreignlang.htm

That file doesn't exist. Where are the installers pulling that info from? Also, my calendar in Outlook also shows some type of asian symbols along with the english.
