    Welcome to the Forum, Corsair1936!

    Corsair1936,

First of all: what version of Netscape are you using now? It will help to know, so we can give you the setting for the startup with blank page.

Did you "unhide" your files on the old C: drive?

    To see hidden files:
    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders
    4. Disable "Hide File Extensions for Known Files. "
    5. Click OK.

To search for files in the Application Data folder, go to Start | Search.
Under More Advanced Options select Search system folders, Search
Hidden Files and folders, and Search subfolders.

  3. to hide this advert.

also, what version was being used before. Right now you will be prompted to download the browser only v.8.1.2, which you don't want, unless you get Mail with another program.

    corsair1936,

Look in the salted (*.slt) folder for your personal data, i.e., bookmarks.html, abook.mab, cookies.txt, etc. The folder should be located here:

    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\ profile_name\*.slt
