Hi, if I am not using the Internet for any length of time (not sure how long before this happens) but the computer is on, I cannot get a connection unless I reboot. The reasons seem to be the number is busy or "the remote system refused the TCP link ". Any ideas, anyone?? (The ISP is AOL if that makes a difference. I know-sorry)

I had that happening but not with AOL but what was happening was I would disconnect at my computer but at the ISP end it was not disconnecting for some reason and therefore that connection was busy or unavailable-some signal between my computer and the ISP was keeping something connected-I contacted my ISP and they were able to clear things up. You might try contacting AOL. Just a thought.
