When I start up, I get a can't find and instead of a file, it has some squares. I look in start up (msconfig) and I do have 4-5 things listed with squares. What is squares all about? Thank you,
    Chris

Sounds like some sort of corruption. Be sure and UNcheck the items that look like squares.

Or possible you have font that is corrupted.

I checked in start up (Start, Run, msconfig, start up) and found 4 things with squares. Two with, "HKCU\SOFTWARE\microsoft NT\current Version\windows:RUN" And another two with the same but at the end it says, ":Load" instead of RUN.
Does this add any insite to what I need to make it stop?

Uncheck all these entries & reboot. Run antivirus & anti malware utils.

sounds like a jackup to me. av/spyware/hijack - u'r general scans should ID or fix them.

i'd also throw a diskcheck at it HD corruption can be part of the problem too.
