This has to do with Yahoo Mail. I signed in but didn't notice the 'keep me logged in' section was ticked. Now whenever I go to mail I am automatically signed in, username and password. I emptied all cache and cookies but still same result. I went to FF options and unticked the option to save passwords. Nothing. All my passwords are still saved. I closed the browser and restarted but that didn't work either.

I followed the directions in Yahoo Help but that didn't help any either. How can I get rid of all saved passwords in FF?

    Thank you.

    delete Site Preferences too:

Tools > Clear Recent History > select Everything > Details arrow > put check next to all items in list

  3. to hide this advert.

Hi Tony. I did as you suggested and it worked for all sites except Yahoo. Yahoo is keeping me signed in no matter what I do. I even backspaced my username and password to leave the fields blank, and unticked the box for keeping me logged in. I restarted FF but still have all fields filled in when I return.

Ok, I got rid of it. Finally. I checked the site preferences and saved passwords on CCleaner and ran it. It must have done the trick because I have no usernames and passwords saved. Didn't do it correctly on FF site preferences.

I do get a pop up from FF whenever I log in to a site asking if I want FF to save the password. (Can this option be turned off?) I have to be more careful and make sure I click the correct tick.

Anyway things seem to be working for now. Cheers!
