cant display any thing in my network places

dear all,
today i got a problem in my office network (windows 2000 network), some of our computers in the network displayed a strange kind of problem today, they cant display any thing in their my network places, and they cant do the copy paste command, what is going wrong in my network, if any one help me to find out the problem i will be greatful, thank you. we have service pack 3 installed all our computer including servers

 

the msBlast worm will stop copy/paste from working at times. You might want to get a removal tool and run it to see if you are infected. The Symantec site has one as do most of the other major AV companies.

Do you have the RPC patch from Microsoft installed? If not, you should.

Check your event logs. Are you seeing lots of svchost.exe errors? Or possibly scvhost.exe errors which would indicate another virus.
