Can't delete message from Outlook

I have Office 2003 Outlook and I have two messages in my deleted folder that I cannot delete permanently. Everytime I try to delete I get an error message:

"Can't open this item> Errors have been detected in the file "C:\Document and Settings\Anne2\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook1.pst. Quit Outlook and all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnois and repair errors in the file. For more information about the Inbox repair tool, see Help ".

I have done all of this and I still cannot remove these two messages. Does anyone know why??? or what I can do?? Thanks.
