I've got a folder that reappears every time I reboot. I delete it, and it's gone.... Then I reboot, and it comes back!!!

I HATE IT! please help me get rid of this annoying thing!

    Hi baltman

    What is the folder name?
Run a google search on folder name.
1st guess, evilware... Run Spyblocker and Ad-aware.

Did you make the folder logged on as another user?
If so you may need to log on as them to remove it.

Also have you tried deleting holding down the shift key to permenantly remove it?

Right click on the folder and select Properties. See if the "Read only" attribute is checked. If so, uncheck it and then click OK to close the dialog box.

Press the function key F5, then try to delete the folder.

i fixed the problem, it was due to a lingering registry file that kept recreating the folder. it's gone for good now. thanks for your suggestions :)
