[Inactive] Can't copy or paste or transfer files.

I tried following the rules, by downloading the dds files but one only sent me to dos and the other just open the screensaver file. Not sure if I need updated links or what.

Basically the problem I am having is I cannot copy, paste, or cut any of my files in windows explorer. It won't let me to transfer any of my files into a different folder or to a different hard drive. My computer has been extremely slowly lately and it is doing very strange things from not opening internet explorer at all to not allowing me to copy, paste or cut. Also when I start the computer it is giving me a rundll error that says

Error loading c:\windows\system32\nahilifo.dll module could not be found.

I am trying to format the hard drive, but I want to save the documents and pictures and videos first before I lose them, but I cannot do it because I am unable to copy, cut or paste.

I have tried to do the windows update but it gives me a null error.

Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button and then click search.

I have Windows XP HOme Edition SP3 installed.

If you need more information, please let me know. Thanks for your quick reply.

Are you able to remove the hard drive from the problem pc and then connect it to a good one? If so, I would do that, then back up the files you want to save, then format the drive before placing it back in the original pc.

Have you tried running MBA-M at all?

I haven't tried putting the hard drive in another computer, because I don't have another computer to do that with. I guess I could take it over to another a relatives house and try plugging the hard drive into their computer. Do you believe that its not a hard drive issue but something else wrong the computer ?

    What is MBA-M?

    Your pc is definitely infected.

    MBA-M = MalwareBytesAnti-Malware.

Please try this version of malwarebytes: Click the link here.
Save it on your desktop. You'll see it will have a random name, and will look similar like this:
Doubleclick on it, so it will extract the files and will start Malwarebytes automatically.
In case the installer (random named file) won't run either, rename it to EXPLORER.EXE and try again.

When Malwarebytes opens, click the "Update" tab FIRST and select to check for updates in order to get the latest updates.
In case Malwarebytes doesn't open, search for the folder mbam-installer on your desktop, open it and doubleclick the file winlogon.exe which will be present in there. This should launch Malwarebytes.

Then perform a scan and let it remove what it found. Reboot afterwards (important).
After reboot, post the malwarebytes log.
