Windows Vista Can't change desktop picture and no thumbnails

    A couple days ago, I came home and my desktop background was just black, all my icons are there though. I tried to change it using personalize, and I can choose a picture, but it does nothing when I hit apply. Also, at the same time that this happened, all my picture thumbnails disappeared. Here's my Hijack This logfile:
