I can click on "block sender' tab and just keep geting Mail from them. The Block senders tab has a red circle with a slash mark. does this mean a problem with this feature? If so, please advise. I am 79 yars old and just got windiws 7 installed. Windows 7 is much different to XP.

    Hello,

When you do "block Sender" , their email will go to "junk e-mail" folder.

Please refer the link to get steps for configuring junk emails and how to "block" senders : http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/outlook-help/handling-junk-mail-in-outlook-2007-HA010232591.aspx
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alternatively, you can configure a rule such that emails from particular sender will be deleted.

I would suggest to just "block" rather that configuring "delete" rule . But let me know if you need assistance with the rules.

    Good Luck.

    Johny,
Am sure it is fascinating and encouraging for all the members to see the 'old man' being curious and willing to learn new technologies. A very rare quality for people @ age of 79 !

Keep learning and posting your queries !

Congratulations, Johnny! It does me good to see older folks willing to lean new technology. My aunt is 73, and she is learning how to operate a Windows 8 laptop.
