Can't alter window text, Klez virus? Nuh uh...

After opening up an email in Outlook XP that had a message of Out of Office reply with a couple dates on it, all my text has become bolded be default. I use word, and the difference between normal and bold text is none. I go to Display properties and I cannot alter the font for the Window Text. I also cannot change the text size when viewing pages in IE.

My roommate thought it was the Klez virus. Downloaded the fix and it didn't detect it.

Any clues? This happens to all users on my system.

 

Whatever it was, I just reinstalled O/S and cleared it up.
