I am the administrator, but can not access Windows photo gallery. It gives me the message "You do not have the permission to use Gallery. To use the Gallery, you must logon as a power user or administrator ".

Can someone help with this one?

    Windows Vista.

Hi and welcome to the WindowsBBS community.

Try going to Start -> Programs and right-click on the Windows Photo Gallery listing. Select Run as administrator.

If that does not work, in the same list you will see Properties. In that, use the Open File Location button or navigate to the folder using Computer, right-click on the WindowsPhotoGallery.exe file and select Run as administrator.

Go to the Security tab on that file, check or let us know the listings of the Groups/Users and their permissions. Do you have User Access Control (UAC) enabled or disabled?

    Matt
