We had to shutdown our network and router while new carpet was being installed.

After plugging everything back in, none of the computers can access the HP printer that's on the network.

I tried to ping the printer and there was no response. I checked the printer IP address in it's configuration menu and it still is configured correctly.

Just to note, all the computers are operating XP PRO and we have a Linksys router.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Wil

Do you connect to the printer by name or IP address?

Try powering down/powering up the printer(s) for another opportunity to link into network. I've been where you are more than once.

Thanks guys for the help. Sorry about the delay getting back to you.

It turned out that someone plugged a cable into the wrong port...

    Take care,

    Wil
