    Hi all.

I'm using Netscape 4.79 through my company proxy server and I can't access any page located on a secure https server. Is this a setting in the default install of Netscape or in the company proxy server?

Does anyone know what I need to ask the Operations Deaprtment in order to do this? IE has no problem accessing https servers and that's all the QA dept tests for, but this project needs to be Netscape-friendly as well.

And no, I'm not shopping at work :), the client site is located on a secure server and I can't get in to do any testing in Netscape. I get a "Server not responding..." error when I try.

    Any suggestions?

    Welcome to the Forum!

    Hi moonkitten,

The proxy configuration is located in:
    Edit|Preferences|Advanced

Your System Administrator should know what options to enter.
