Since installing the PDF download by Nitro PDF software, I cannot view my pdf links in firefox. In tools in firefox there is a Nitro pdf section, but no option to uninstall Nitro. The adobe reader dll file is in my firefox plugin folder, but something in Nitro must be set wrong or is interfering. When I go to a pdf link in firefox nitro is suppose to bring up a little window showing various options on how to handle the pdf file, but nothing happens. When I go to the mozilla test page for the adobe reader pdf plugin, I get the message that the plugin is either not installed or is not working. It is installed but it is not working. Anyone know how to uninstall nitro? I browsed Google but got no info on uninstalling. Would uninstalling and re-installing firefox do the job?

I got it to work. I re-downloaded the latest Nitro pdf software and installed it thru firefox. Closed firefox and re-opened it and the pdf test is now working just fine with the option to show the nitro option window.

    Broni,

What is strange is that I could not find it in add-remove, nor could I find it in program files, I was looking for an uninstall feature. It must be a add-on to firefox, but it does not show in the add-ons either. See my second post. I got it to work by reinstalling it. I have adobe reader 8.1, and thought that it might be the problem but it was working just fine on another computer that did not have Nitro installed.

Broni, found it in Add-ons, extensions, and there is an option to uninstall there. I was looking in add-ons, themes, when I was originally trying to find it. For now, there is no need to uninstall it, since it is now working ok.
