May be malware. Are you sure you are clean?

Mr Bill, I ran a full scan with Bitdefender and Malawarebytes all clear!

Do you happen to have Revo Uninstaller installed on your PC? It has nothing to do with this program.

    Hi John.

Since you could not uninstall certain applications due to some program errors we will use another method of removing those applications.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Download the portable version of Revo Uninstaller. (The link is at the very bottom of the download page)

    2. Save the folder to your desktop.

    3. Once the program has finished downloading, locate the zipped folder, right click it and select Extract all.

    4. After the folder has been extracted open up the folder and locate the revouninstaller.exe program.

    5. Launch the program by right clicking on the revouninstaller.exe program and selecting Run as administrator and locate the application that you want to remove.

    6. Highlight the entry and select Uninstall.

    7. A window will come up asking you which mode you would like to use to remove the program.

    8. Click on Advanced Mode and then click the Next button.

    9. Follow the steps in the Wizard and make sure that you delete all files and registry entries that are found for the program.

    10. If there is more than one entry in the programs list that you want to remove, then follow steps 6-9 again.

    11. After the removal process finishes for all the programs that you wanted to remove, restart the computer.

    12. Once the computer reboots, see if those applications have been fully removed from your machine.

If Revo does not work, or if you want to try something a little easier first, you might try MoveOnBoot. This neat little program lets you tag the file (or entire folder) then delete it early-on during the next boot cycle, before Windows or any application can set hooks in it.

The file is only 6.86MB. I have it on all my PC's.
