Cannot send to newsgroups

    I am able to read newsgroups but when I try to post to them, I get an error message from OE.

    Agent does work with them so I know they are valid groups.

    "Posting not in internet syntax" is the error message. I have reboot to see if that would help

    In OE click tools>accounts, highlight your news account, click properties. Make sure your email address and the reply to address both use the proper syntax. You can use a phony address if you want but it still has to have the correct syntax. In other words it has to look like an email address. something@anywhere.com for example.
