I am not sure if this is an Internet Explorer issue or not. I am running Windows XP HE with IE 6 both all updated with patches etc..

I have been trying to submit an online form and everytime I click to submit IE shows a warning that 'my current security settings do not allow HTML forms'

I had this problem a while ago but found it was the Google toolbar and when I disabled this everything was OK. I have tried doing this today but still get the warning.

I have checked IE tools etc and do not see anything that may be preventing this. I would be grateful for any advice as I jsut cannot think where I should be looking next :(

Quick way to find out - put the site into your 'trusted site' list for long enough to deal with the form. If it goes as it is supposed to, then it's an IE security setting that is maybe too tight. If it still won't go, it isn't IE - provided you have the usual sort of settings for your trusted sites.

Thanks Newt - I was sitting pondering the fact that when I was completing the form the zone changed to restricted site - I am running Spyware Guard & Spyware Blaster which may be placing the site as restricted. With this form I feel I may be best to leave it as restricted as it was to ask for a signature to be made. This I can do without rather than risk my security.
When I experienced this before I knew the site to be very safe & a quick tweak with Goolge allowed me to submit.

I will use your advice on sites I know to be safe if this warning appears on any of them but somehow now you have shown the restricted issue it may well have meaning about security. Thanks for the tip just to place it as trusted long enought to submit the form ;)
