We set up a new email account, having done it many times before, but mail to this account bounces back saying user account does not exist.
Sending mail from the new account is fine.
This is probably trivial but I keep looking at it and cannot see what is wrong.
    Suggestions appreciated.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

In the account properties there is a tab called "Servers." It asks you for the account name.

My ISP wants the info in front of the email address-> XXXX@tx.rr.com (it wants the XXXX)

Some ISP's want the full address.... You'll need to look on your ISP's web site to see which they want..Or experiment.

Thanks but servers set up as they should be. Just the same as the original email account. So don't think that is the answer.

A comma instead of a period someplace is what I usually find is the problem.

I'd delete the account and re-create it..
