As the computer is starting, it is trying to boot from the cd rom. I have stopped the setup, and changed the settings. The computer will not save my changes. Next I have tried to boot from floppy. Message says starting win 95, but then an a prompt with a flashing curser is all I have. 1) I am not sure what to do at this point and 2) when I change to c drive I get a "invalid drive specif." message. This tells me that the computer cannot find the c drive? Can anyone help me? Thank you!

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Did you just turn on the pc one day and this started? Or did you have the cover off the case and were working inside the pc?

    Hi,
I ejected a cd in the middle of installation. BOOOO. Anyway, i got a black screen, turned off the computer. From there, I have tried MANY different things to get the computer running again. I did not remove the cover, so I'm thinking that it is fairly simple adjustment that I haven't figured out yet. I'm guessing I need to have the computer read the c drive first. I'm not sure how to do this. It will read drive a (floppy) and it says there is a drive b (but the light in drive a lights up) past this, it will not read any other drives. Help!!!

    To Steve Jones and Topdog:
Thank you for your response to my problem. I was unable to get the computer to read the c drive and it would not "hold" my manual settings. (could have been the battery.) A friend of mine and I gave up and changed the hard drive. Everythings fine now but again, THANK YOU!
